What is an AIER Learning Journey?

In an effort to help local educators connect over interesting things, AIER is going to be sponsoring a series of Learning Journey (field-trips).

The plan is simple, once a month or so, we will be scheduling a visit and tour with a local, school, program, business or educator(s) who are doing interesting things. The entire goal is just to get folks talking to each other about 21st Century Education in our community.

Each Journey will be a little different – but essentially the plan will be to spend about two hours in a school or with some educators learning about what they do and how they do it.

More Information:

The learning “family” at On Track Academy stands out as a uniquely personalized approach that offers a tailored plan for each student who chooses to complete their high school diploma in our school. Relationships are key at On Track Academy.

Students have the opportunity to accelerate their learning and not only cross the finish line of graduation on time, but be prepared for success in their T-2-4 plans for their preferred future—College, Tech School, Career or the Military. On Track Academy students add value to their learning by gaining 21st Century skills through New Tech Skills Center or through our Arts, PATH, or STEM & Robotics/Engineering/Computer Science cohorts.

We will meet at On Track Academy at 8:15am on March 16th, and spend a couple of hours there. By signing up and providing your contact information, AIER will be able to provide you specifically with more details as the date draws nearer.

The visit is free, but RSVP required as space is limited. Reserve a spot today!
