One of the hardest things about reform in schools is that the new ideas, systems, approaches, etc. generally use the same metrics for success as the previous ones did. We cite improvements in schools in terms of standardized testing as compared to national norms or local trends.
But what if we are measuring the wrong things?
What about those things "beyond measure"?
